Bangladeshi 172X168 Following an introduction by the BPF and a formal approach by Steve Taplin representing the University of Wolverhampton, REGAIN Polymers played host to a party of Senior Civil Servants from the People’s Republic of Bangladesh.

As part of an international development programme co-funded by The Ministry of Establishment of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh and the UK Government Department for International Development (DFID), the development programme involves the Civil Servants in identifying reform projects suitable for implementation within Bangladesh.

The ideas are initiated in the Civil Service Academy in Bangladesh and refined during a study visit to the UK hosted by the Centre for International Development and Training (CIDT) based at the University of Wolverhampton.

The intention is to provide the delegates with the space and stimulation to revise and enhance designated reform programmes (Super Project Implementation Plans, or SPIPS) that they will be implementing during the six months after they return to Bangladesh.
